The 1936 Ward Canvasback     Alkyd

This one of the most beautiful decoys ever conceived. It was made by the Ward Brothers of Crisfield, Maryland and somehow captures the very essence of a male canvasback in a beautiful economic manner. The decoy was lent to me by the artist Joe Seme who has a fine collection of decoys.
